Theatre director and actreess in Λονδίνο, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο
Angeliki is the Artistic Director of Mirror Theatre as well as an actress from Greece. Angeliki moved to London after a long career in theatre, cinema and TV in Greece. Angeliki attended a Director's course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and she trained at the renowned Drama school of Greek Art Theatre-Karolos Koun and at the Conservatoire of Dramatic Arts, Athens. Since her graduation, she has been working professionally as an actor and has been privileged to collaborate with some of the industry's finest directors. She has also performed in Greek open air theatres includes the ancient theatre of Epidaurus, which puts an actor's voice and technique to the test. Her theatrical experience encompasses a variety of genres and she can equally master comic as well as tragic roles. She has also applied her skills in voice over work for various animated characters. Since moving to London, she has been directing and producing performances in unconventional venues such as the Andipa Art Gallery. Her interest is in combining visual art with poetry, live music and performance. She experiments and explores the ways that poetic language and literature marry with contemporary performance art and thus, merges classical style with modern aesthetics.
Most recently, Angeliki has also attended workshops with the Old Vic Community. Furthermore; she has attended seminars on Commedia Dell' Arte with Kaio Beltz at the "Theater of Changes" Theatre School and on Ancient Greek Drama with Despina Bebedeli. She has also continued to train her voice and singing.
