Researcher and Law Professional in Florida
Based in Florida, Angel Leiva has worked for several years in building his career as a legal professional, and researcher. Laying the foundation for his future endeavors, he earned a bachelor of science in biology and chemistry from the University of Miami. During his studies, Angel Leiva was an active participant in the Undergraduate Research Training Program in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. He particularly focused his work in the areas of clinical cancer studies, contributing to several faculty research projects and books. In addition, Angel Leiva co-wrote a number of scholarly articles on topics ranging from the use of lasers in dermatology to the relationship between dermal abnormalities and decrease in MPZL3 functionality.
Angel Leiva went on to pursue his juris doctor from the Ave Maria School of Law, where he earned several accolades for his dedication to both academics and research. He completed several legal internships throughout his attendance at the school. In 2014, he worked as a law clerk in the Law Offices of Scott Bloch, P.A., where he was responsible for the research and drafting of court materials, including a federal multi-count case. Most recently, Angel Leiva worked as a legal extern for Dr. Mario Golab at Golab Intellectual Property, PLLC, in Coral Gables, Florida. In this capacity, he composed multiple memoranda, patents, and legal complaints for the Patent and Trademark Office of the United States.
