Angelica Grab, who goes by the nickname Angie, is a dedicated and very motivated public relations student at the University of North Florida. Throughout her college career, she has enjoyed volunteering with plenty of on-campus organizations including her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Swoop Squad, which is an organization of students who give campus tours to potential new students and her third year on the overall team for Dance Marathon, which is a student-run non-profit organization on campus that puts on events and raise money throughout the year for The Children’s Miracle Network.
Angie is very passionate about internships and believes they are critical in her college career. So far, she has interned for The American Heart Association as the special events intern, and currently assisting in the development of a start-up company that matches students to top companies for paid internships, WickedSmart. She feels that internships give students the opportunity to dip their toes in different areas of their chosen field, and she plans to take full advantage at a chance for experience. With plans for three more internships before her graduation, Angie won’t let anything get in her way of learning and getting as much experience as she can.
