I was born and raised on the outskirts of a small town. Total population as of 2012....824 peoples! Yeah, that small.
All farms and logging, that is all you will see in our 2 caution light town. We have 1 post office, 2 Convenience stores, and a drug store. Oh, they also maneged to get a dollar general there a few years back. We all rely on feeding ourselves, meaning we still grow and raise our own food and we also know how to clean and cook it. No room for fast food and a microwave here. Our days are long, Our families large and we still teach our children how to hunt, fish & survive.
How did I end up in a city like Tallahassee, I got married to a wonderfull man and here I am.
We now teach our children the same as if we lived in that small town and I have turned my way of life into a Job I love. Baking sweet treats and homemade goodies for the world to enjoy a bit of yester year. A time when everyone, even Tallahassee, once knew how to farm, fish, hunt and Families were large enough to run said farm. Not only did they help each other, they relied on it.
