Annabel was discovered in 1982 while working as a secretary for an advertising agency. During a photographic shoot for Boots No7 make-up, they finished up early and took some shots of her, which ended up being used for the campaign. This opportunity led to an illustrious international modelling career and she was the only British model at the time to be contracted to a major cosmetics company (Max Factor).

In the 1990s she went on to a career in television presenting, appearing on programmes such as Night Network, Posh Frocks and New Trousers, Help Squad and Hit the Road.

Her sharp wit and engaging style has led to numerous guest appearances on panel shows, including Have I Got News for You, Shooting Stars, Radio 4’s Loose Ends and The Wright Stuff. In 2013, she participated in ITVs I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Independently, she has written and performed two one-woman shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has had three novels published by Penguin.

Annabel is currently re-training for a new career. More will be revealed...
