Anne H. Schneider

Aberdeen, Scotland

Anne works as Research Fellow on the MIME project (Managing Information in Medical Emergencies) at the dot.rural Digital Economy Hub at the University of Aberdeen. She received a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland for her thesis "Intrinsic and Extrinsic Component Evaluation in Interactive Multilingual Speech Applications". Her interests lie at the boundary between Natural Language Processing and Human Computer Interaction with a special focus on the evaluation of language technologies such as Automatic Speech Recognition, Machine Translation, Text-to-Speech and Natural Language Generation.
