A student at Portland State University, Anneka Henry is currently pursuing a bachelor of arts in theater and the dramatic arts. She is also a committed humanitarian and active in Portland, Oregon, with campus groups such as Vital Voices, which cultivates the leadership potential in young women, and the Kids First Project, a group that provides support and resources for children experiencing homelessness. For the Bradley Angle Shelter, a refuge for individuals affected by domestic violence, Anneka Henry helped organize a fundraiser that collected more than $1,500.

Formerly a student at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, Anneka Henry took an active part in the Oregon Students Association Delegation. In addition to supporting the Equal Housing Opportunity Bill, an initiative in Ashland that protects students from renting discrimination, she registered more than 2,500 students to vote in the 2016 state and federal elections.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Ms. Henry enjoys reading for pleasure and cooking, as well as going for walks and working out.
