Hello, and welcome!

I am a fourth year student graduating from the University of Virginia. I was born-and-raised in Atlanta, GA into a family of diehard UNC Tarheels but decided to take my chances as the black sheep at UVA.

Luckily for me, that paid off. I recently finished my Media Studies Distinguished Majors thesis on digital monopolies, which focuses specifically on the nexus of digital labor, and the future of e-commerce (while still managing a quasi-addiction to AmazonPrime).

Outside of coursework, I served as President of my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, held a marketing internship for the College of Arts and Sciences Development office, and volunteered with campus outreach for Teach for America, among many other things.

Career wise, I'm hoping to leverage my background in marketing and my Media Studies degree to continue to work in digital marketing, and/or become CJ Cregg.

Long term, I'm also planning to attend law school to study media policy and intellectual property law, even though I was raised by two lawyers who tell me not to go. Luckily again, I'm passionate (and/or stubborn) enough about the issues that I hope to do it anyway.

In my spare time I can be found reading, obsessively following the news, somehow watching every show on television or spending time outdoors with friends.
