Founder of Anton A. Ewing, J.D., located in San Diego, Anton Ewing has developed a breadth of knowledge in tax planning and financial advising during his career. He is particularly qualified to inform his clients of the legal implications of financial and tax strategies, since he holds a law degree from The University of Arizona in Tucson. Today, Anton Ewing is called on by individuals and corporations to consult on issues related to tax management, business valuation and analysis, retirement and financial planning, and asset protection. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Before he formed his firm in 2004, Anton Ewing held several management positions in Southern California. He headed the pension department of a law firm based in La Jolla. While there, he supervised the preparation of tax returns, took the lead on tax audits, and managed the firm's accounting and legal staff. Prior to that, Ewing held the position of Tax Manager at a CPA firm located in Sherman Oaks.
In 2000, while living in the Phoenix area, Anton Ewing started a financial planning firm that specialized in asset protection strategies, among other matters. Certified as a Financial Planner, he has numerous additional licenses, including Series 7 Registered Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 66 Registered Investment Advisor, and Life and Health Insurance Broker.
An honors graduate of The University of Arizona in Tucson, Ewing has also completed all of the core coursework necessary for a Master in Taxation from Arizona State University.
Ewing began his career serving in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear reactor operator. A decorated veteran of the Persian Gulf War, he received an honorable discharge in 1992.
