Gurgaon, Haryana, India
My name is Anuradha and though I am pretty fond of my name, my friends and colleagues know me better as Andy (Failed attempt to form a band but I guess the name stuck on!)
I originally hail from Chennai in Tamil Nadu, but my army background has allowed me to travel across nine different states throughout my childhood.
Currently based in Gurgaon, I have been working with Bain and Company for the past 20 months. Apart from the wonderful time I had at Bain, I also learnt to run a household and cook some good dishes.
I have lived for close to five years in NCR now as I also completed my graduation in Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women in 2012.
I entertain varied interests. I am very fond of still-life sketching and painting. I particularly specialize in miniature stone paintings and depicting stories on earthenware.
I’ve also been an avid reader since childhood. Though I experiment sporadically with non-fiction, I mostly stick to fiction. Find me a good page turner and I’m all set for the day!
I have always had some sort of association with dance. I am currently training in jazz and I would choose a studio over a running track any day.
I strongly believe in social responsibility and I have contributed to various causes while in college as well as through the CSR initiatives of my firm.
My childhood spent hopping cities not only made me appreciate the importance of change but more importantly, it made me a travel enthusiast. From testing my military gut and plunging into 83 meters of nothingness in Rishikesh to looking for daggers in Nepal, I have tons of experiences to share!
I look forward to meeting all of you and experience the excellence that is IIMB.
