I'm Oza current serving as an exoplanètes editor for the new open-access journal Universe .

I just finished teaching my last semester on Zoom as a Lecturer at the University of Bern (u^b) in Switzerland. Feel free to DM me for my course notes on "Planet Formation and Evolution."

During the pandemic, I'm currently working from home near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I specialize in the field of atmospheric escape and evolution.

Within our solar system, I study the tidal heating at Jupiter's moon Io as well as diurnal oxygen cycles at Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.

Beyond the solar system, I model how sub-Neptunes evolve into super-Earths via photoevaporation.

Lately, I have also gotten back into high-resolution transmission spectroscopy where I observe gas giants searching for alkaline signatures of evaporating exomoons which have been named "exo-Ios". This topic has been summarized for the general public by New Scientist and Scientific American.
