Hello, I am Areeba Imam, a passionate, determined, motivated and ambitious seventeen-year old Senior from Richmond Hill High School and Year-One graduate of Columbia Law School's High School Law Institute from New York City. Since a young age, I had developed a great passion in learning about the legal field and international affairs along with creative writing.

Online Model UN have given me an oppurtunity to expose myself in an altering UN environment and display my skills over the subjects that I am passionate about collectively. I have had the distinctive honor of being selected as an Ambassador for delegates accessing OMUN from the Americas; alongside I've also been chosen as an Executive Administrative Officer for the East Coast of US for service year 2013-14 and look forward to for being part of the foundations of this great program.

Besides my interest in global affairs, I share a deep passion for writing and am currently working on a work of fiction. I write novellas, short stories and plays in my spare time. I also have a deep love for photography (The background is one of my clicks). I have been certified as an ADL Peer Trainer against 'bullying'. I also work as a activist in my local community for 'Mental health Awareness' & 'Green Environment'. I enjoy being part of many different leadership organizations in my High School career as well. Besides my involvement in leadership and academics, I am quite a bit of a nerd and a complete geek for classic books, movies and art.

Alongside all, I enjoy playing soccer & run distance-track for my school team.
