Arlene Carter is an author, published guest columnist and IT professional. She works as a Project Manager with Nissan North America (NNA), based in Nashville, TN. Dedicated to building bridges between different generations of women, she is a personal and professional advocate for gender equality.
A native of Kansas, Arlene has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Mid America Nazarene University and a Master Degree in Business Management from Trevecca Nazarene University from Nashville, Tennessee. Her professional acumen includes the following: Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master, ITILv3, and COBiT as well as receiving the Nissan equivalent of Six Sigma: she is a certified Value-up Pilot.
She is a founder of IS CONNECT within the Nissan IS organization and served as the Director of Communications. Currently she serves on the boards of the NNA-Women’s Business Synergy Team as the Director of Professional Development and NashvilleCABLE as the Assistant Internal Chair of Communications and is very active in numerous nonprofits in Nashville and Murfreesboro, TN.
At Nissan, Arlene is responsible for Marketing and Sales Consumer Facing projects that focus on improving the telematics experience for both internal and external customers. Arlene program manages the Customer Experience 2016 initiative within the IS PMO.
