Arminda Cavender is an Alabama-based entrepreneur known for building and scaling retail and real estate ventures from the ground up. She is the owner and operator of five antique mall locations across Alabama and is widely recognized for her Pickers brand of vendor-based marketplaces. Her flagship location, Irondale Pickers, is the largest antique mall in the state of Alabama, serving as a destination for vintage, antique, and curated retail.

Arminda has developed five antique malls from inception—including Calhoun Pickers, Irondale Pickers, Gardendale Pickers, Crestwood Pickers, and Old South Antique Mall—establishing a proven track record in launching and growing large-scale, community-driven retail spaces.

Her Pickers locations support hundreds of vendors and serve thousands of customers across Alabama.

Her passion lies in transforming large vacant retail spaces—often former Walmart or Kmart buildings—into thriving antique malls where hundreds of small businesses and vendors can operate under one roof.

In addition to her retail ventures, she is the owner of Investors Pro, a real estate investment company that manages multiple condominium properties.

Arminda also owns Mimosa Boutique, a very small boho-chic women’s clothing boutique in Gardendale that she maintains as a hobby and creative outlet.
