I'm a self taught graphic designer whose eureka moment was a quote by Jessica Hische in one of my favorite books Steal Like An Artist:

"The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life."

So for the longest time, I stuck to a day job at a digital agency where I learnt and grew professionally, until I found a university whose philosophies and values are close to mine. That's when I quit my job and joined Habib University, a liberal arts school in Karachi where I'm currently enrolled as a design major but I'm learning a whole lot of things.

It’s been a year now and I've grown so much intellectually and emotionally. One year of detaching myself from the identity of an artist and I got to learn how toxic it is for growth to restrict oneself to one thing. It makes us settle for less when we are capable of so much more.

I'm passionate about a lot of things: art and expression, design, edtech, social change, personal development and digital storytelling.

In the process of unlearning and reconstruction, embracing the fact that "change is the only constant in life" and saying yes to the experiences life has to offer has been rewarding and shaping my persona and life.

Every course that I've taken has changed my worldview forever and I'm trying to channelize that in my work.

I'm living for the story rather than its conclusion, standing for myself rather than sitting down, chasing dreams rather than deadlines, following my passions rather than a steady paycheck and I'm open to new ideas and possibilities. I'm a work in progress.
