Dr. Azeem Rathore is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician based in Florida with a strong commitment to medical education, mentorship, and clinical innovation. Fluent in English and conversational in Urdu and Spanish, Dr. Rathore takes pride in delivering patient-centered care with clear communication.
Dr. Rathore earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. He currently practices as a Hospitalist with Spectrum Medical Partners and Premier Inpatient Partners.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rathore holds leadership and research roles across various organizations. He contributes to the development of AI-based ECG tools with SafeBeat Rx and participates in cardiology and pulmonary research with the MCA Research Group. While in residency, he was actively involved in multiple residency committees, including the Patient Safety Committee and Research Committee, where he championed resident wellness, academic productivity, and patient safety.
Passionate about teaching, Dr. Rathore mentors pre-medical students through the Young Muslims Association and has presented clinical cases to international audiences with Clinical Problem Solvers. He has also earned multiple awards for his research on atrial fibrillation, myocarditis, and cardiac imaging.
Dr. Rathore’s interests include technology, swimming, football, and movies. He continues to seek opportunities that allow him to integrate bedside medicine with academic development, research, and teaching the next generation of physicians. He is married to his beautiful wife, and they enjoy traveling internationally, snorkeling, and kayaking together.
He works as a traveling hospitalist.
