I have a useless BA in History and Minor in English Lit, don't read as often as I should, and am clumsier than a drunk sorority girl on ladies night. There was this one time I met cancer in a back alley, and to the tune of "Il Buono, Il Cattivo, and Il Brutto", I emerged the victor.

I began this blog at the request of my lovely friend K to regale the world with tales from public transit. It immediately transformed into an online journal. I love to write and hope to continue improving my skills at Dispatches From PDX. I always seem to have something ridiculous going on in my life, so much so that my stepdad affectionately has declared my life song to be "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes. So if anyone finds humor, solace, or kinship with my follies, I know my life will have had some kind of purpose.
