I am a 19 year old student from Indianapolis currently attending Indiana University! I am planning on majoring in Human Development and Family Studies in order to pursue a carreer in counseling.

Previously, I attended Roncalli High School and graduated in May of 2014 with a 3.9 GPA. I recieved an Academic Honors Diploma and was a member of the National Honors Society. I successfully completed 3 AP classes and 2 honors courses my senior year. In high school, I was a 4-year varsity cheerleader as well as the captain of my squad for 2 of those years. Additionally, my squad nominated and awarded me with the Most Valuable Cheerleader award 2 years in a row. I was also actively involved in photography club, french club and the advanced sewing club.

Between my junior and senior year, I participated in a 2 week excursion to Colorado for my school's Summer Field Study program. This program allowed me to travel to Estes Park, Colorado where I was able to camp out under the stars, provide for myself and make lasting connections with new frends while living in the wilderness. This trip allowed me to grow as an individual and learn to take care of myself responsibily as an adult.

Over four years of high school, I have completed more than 160 hours of service. Some of the service I have completed includes coaching my church's 7-8th grade CYO cheerleading squad, participating in Dance Marathon, volunteering at The Lord's Pantry and other shelters, serving as a Group Leader for Freshman Orientation and being a Tour Guide for my high school. I also volunteered my time through cheerleading by designing logos and spirt wear for my squad, volunteering at local cheerlading clinics and camps, and creating dances and routines for my squad to perform.

Over this past summer, I worked as a Nanny for a family in my neighborhood. This job allowed me to learn to take care of others, especially children, and gave me a large lesson in responsibility. It taught me to have fun while remaining in charge and also to care for others before myself.
