I am on the board of directors for the nonprofit called I Paid It Forward. It was founded by this amazing woman, Keri-Lyn Jakubs, who has a giving heart as large as the Pacific Northwest, with the idea of turning it into a 501(c)(3). As a board member, I am writing this blog about what I Paid It Forward does, and in general about doing acts of kindness.
Shoes are so important. They protect our feet, tell the world who we are, and help us walk properly. In giving shoes away, I see happy faces and new shoes replace worn out, ill-fitting old ones. It's a great thing!
