A lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, Barry Krisko has served as a registered financial advisor since 1995. As a Branch Manager for Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., he supervises options and securities. In addition, Krisko handles estate planning, wealth management, and 401(k) plans and manages fee-based accounts. As such, he advises clients on stocks, bonds, mutual funds, certificates of deposit, life insurance, annuities, municipal bonds, and other tools of investment and wealth accumulation. Krisko’s success has required a recent move to larger offices at 1900 North Market Street in Elizabethtown, where he plans to accommodate additional staff including another office assistant and two financial advisors.
Barry Krisko received his undergraduate education at Temple University. While in college, he worked as the front bellman at the upscale Korman Residential Suites in Philadelphia. Upon graduating from Temple with his Bachelor of Arts, he worked as an assistant to Steve and Kip Forbes, the sons of Malcolm Forbes of Forbes Magazine. In this role, Krisko was responsible for ensuring that prominent Forbes Magazine business contacts were flown from Los Angeles to New York on special trips to thank them for their support. Krisko traveled around the country on the Capitalist Tool, Malcolm Forbes’ private B727 jet, and toured with former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Margaret Thatcher on a trip around the United States.
Before joining Raymond James Financial Services, Barry Krisko accepted a position with Edward Jones and served as a registered Investment Representative for nine years. He opened the Elizabethtown Edward Jones office in 1995, building it from the ground up by going door-to-door in the community and talking to people about their finances. Krisko became a top producer with Edward Jones and was recruited to train new brokers in the region.
An active resident of Elizabethtown, Barry Krisko has sat on the Boards of Directors of the Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce and Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. He has sponsored wrestling and golf tournaments and a local dance show in the community, and he wrote a column on finance for the Elizabethtown Chronicle.
