Becca Vey

Barrie, Ontario, Canada

Currently a photography student enrolled at Durham College. I discovered my love of photography at a young age, using just a simple point and shoot camera. I find inspiration for my photos in the people and the environments that surround me. My love for the outdoors and traveling explains the reasoning for my dream job of working for National Geographic.

I’m not sure what I’ll do or where I will end up, but all I know is I want to go places. I want to see people and hear of their stories. I want my mind to grow through worlds of different cultures and be inspired by the idea of freedom. I want experiences that will challenge my comfort zone but ultimately motivate me to take more risks. I want to live where things happen on a big scale. I want to learn to appreciate all the curiosities that life has to offer. I want to take a step forward and just start living.
