Behdad Mahichi

Toronto, ON

Born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Vancouver, B.C., I'm passionate and actively involved in a wide range of subjects from current affairs and politics to film and television. My need to stay informed and aware of national and international news has led me to study journalism at Ryerson University in hopes of finding my place in the world of today's media. I strive to be active in the community and partake in as many events and campaigns as I can relate to. My previous media-related experience includes producing campaign videos and infomercials, filming and editing music videos and working alongside companies to produce promotional videos. I am strongly dedicated to informative media in hopes of increasing communication in our world today, as it is communication which creates understanding and understanding which brings peace.
