Ben Mahalik

math tutor, research analyst, and Econometric Grad student in Normal, Illinois

I stumbled through early adulthood with poor health. I figured that an evolutionary based dietary intervention would help, and it did. In the course of recovery, I began teaching myself math and biology. I realized that "uneducation" should be the first step towards discovering ones aptitudes. It should be preliminary to structured education, which is then just an optimization of a self learning which is already effective.

I overcame some significant issues, in the process of doing so, I understand the ways in which students can go awry. So, I tutor math with an emphasis on fundamentals like nutrition and efficient study habits.
