After growing up in Skokie Illinois for 22 years I went to Niles West High School. I graduated Niles West in 2009. From their I spent one year completing general education courses at Northeastern Illinois University. I then took some time off to take a trip to Israel to teach, learn and work. While I was in Israel I learned Jewish history, Hebrew and martial arts. I also volunteered to teach martial arts at a non-profit organization called Budo for Peace. Budo for Peace brings Israeli and Arab students together to study a peaceful mind through martial arts. I helped instruct these children. While in Israel I also was working on a few business ventures with business partners. Our business initiative took place in South Sudan, then later moved to Uganda. Through this experience I gained strong team building and leadership skills.
