Minister in Knoxville, Tennessee
I'm from a small town in East Tennessee, where I grew up in the shadows of the Smoky Mountains. I recieved my education from Lee University's School of Religion and Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
I love the Church, because it was church people that intoduced me to Jesus and that has made all the difference. So, my life is committed to helping the Church be all God has created her to become as God's reign breaks forth on Earth. I serve and learn alongside the folks of First Baptist Church of Knoxville.
I live in downtown Knoxville with my wife, Laura Beth, and our Labany (half-lab, half-brittany, full-mutt), Lindsey.
I'm also a soccer fan, and founded Scruffy City Syndicate, the supporters group for our local soccer club, Knoxville Force.
My hobbies are riding bikes, playing sports, and watching other people play them better than I can. I'm also a proponent of quality writing.
