I currently live in Salisbury N.C., where I write about county government and politics with local implications for the Salisbury Post. I previously worked for The Selma Times-Journal in Selma, Ala. I graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
My work has also appeared in the Natchez (Miss.) Democrat, The Baton Rouge Advocate, The Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News and Lake Charles (La.) American Press. Most of my work to this point has focused on covering county and municipal governments and business-related issues.
As the product of a military family, I’ve lived in at least a dozen different cities. I don’t truly have a hometown, but consider Louisiana to be my home state.
