I'm Co-founder & Partner at SparkLabs Group (www.sparklabsgroup.com), which is a network of startup accelerators and venture capital funds. We started this in 2013, and grown it to 13 entities that includes South Korea (1st launched in Dec 2012), China, Taiwan, Australia, SparkLabs Global Ventures (global seed-stage fund), and SparkLabs Ventures, a Series A fund for South Korea.

I was previously Co-founder & CEO of Vidquik, a web conferencing & sales solutions platform. Prior to this, Managing Director at the Lunsford Group, which is a private investment firm with holdings in real estate, healthcare and other industries. I was Co-founder & VP of Business Development of GoingOn Network, a social media platform for companies, and also led our product development where BusinessWeek recognized us in their "Best of the Web" list. I co-founded a couple other startups, raised over $50 million.

I'm a guest writer to various technology journals, such as VentureBeat, TechCrunch, Mashable and ReadWrite, and I have been published in The New York Times, The Boston Globe and other publications.

I grew up in suburban Chicago (Northbrook!), and attended Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) and Columbia University. I have a strong interest in public policy and why I did the Coro Fellowship, a post-graduate leadership development program. I have lived in Springfield, IL, St. Louis, MO, NYC, Seoul, San Francisco, and now reside in Palo Alto, CA. I'm married to an incredible woman and we love watching our 3 kids grow.
