Brenda Gaytan

Orange County, California

I graduated in May 2015 with a double Bachelor's Degree in International Business and French at California State University, Fullerton. I speak spanish and french fluently, and I am currently working on my German. I have had the opportunity of studying, traveling, and living abroad, which has giving me the passion to persue a career in International Marketing. I pride myself in being open minded and flexible, so I always try to step out of my comfort zone and not being afraid of trying new things every day.

Estee Lauder said, "I never dreamed about success, I worked for it." I have kept that in mind throughout my academic years, so have worked hard and always looked for opportunities to grow personally and professionally. My first internshihp was at a french PR company in Los Angeles in the fashion field where I learned the basics of public relations and event planning. By working as an Administrative Assistant at the Sylvan Learning Center in Fullerton, I gained customer relations experience. I then interned at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Global Intellectual Property Center (GIPC) in Washington, D.C. where I was also responsible for logistical support for GIPC events and programs as well as coordinating communication to the GIPC board. Currently, I work at Auto Alert, Inc. in Irvine, CA as a Business Operations and Marketing intern.

I am a cinephile; I enjoy going to the movie theater on the weekends, but I also love reading, listening to music, and theater and dance. My favorite composers are Chopin and Tchaikosky, and my favorite musicals are Chicago, The Lion King, and The Phantom of the Opera. I am also a Disney enthusiast, so I try to make time to go to Disneyland with my friends and family once in a while.
