Abed Bhatti

Abed is currently working for The V&A Museum, as lead editor of the V&A Faces blog, as well as the Social Media Manager and Co-Facilitator, spearheading the Birkbeck University of London, 'Points of Dialogue' workshops, as part of the equality & diversity initiative.

He is also a practising Artist, having studied at the Princes School of Traditional Arts, as well as a Freelance Blogger, Journalist and Interfaith Educator. Related to his artistic pursuits he also participates in ‘Scriptural Reasoning’ at the Faculty of Divinity, Theology & Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge.

Abed is also part of Birkbeck College Academic and Alumni network, and has featured as part of the ‘FACES’ project , in which Birkbeck staff and alumni shared their thoughts and experiences, reflecting on themes around tolerance and freedom from discrimination.

His artistic enquiry is about engaging an introspective critique on the nature of ‘self’ and its liability to 'impose'.
