Travel is one of the best life experiences one can have and I encourage my daughters to explore this amazing world we live in. I love to write about family travel and have reviewed properties in destinations such as Cabo, St. Augustine, and Sandestin, Florida. I traveled to Nairobi in 2013 with Every Girl Counts to help mentor young girls from Kibera, Africa's largest slum.

I am a featured blogger for the Monroe J. Carell Junior Children's Hospital Wishing Well blog and ghost write for several fashion and lifestyle blogs. I've been interviewed by USA Today and ABCNews.com about parenting issues and was a 2011 virtual panelist for a Bulldog Reporter PR University session about effectively reaching mom blogers.

I'm also an old school print journalism grad who has interviewed everyone from actor Steve Carell to former Sen. Bill Frist.
