Brian Hoadley

London, United Kingdom

With a career spanning 25 years, beginning with the engineering and implementation of technology and evolving to intelligent product design, I’ve been a telecommunications engineer, project and program manager, digital product designer, digital strategist and entrepreneur.

I’ve worked in many different sectors, for agencies and directly for clients. I’ve founded and run two agencies and sat on the management teams and boards of others – in both the United States and United Kingdom. An American and New Yorker by birth, I lived in Boston during my early work with the web and later moved to London where I’ve spent the last 10+ years.

In 2004 I founded and ran digital product design agency, phunQube, at a time User Experience was still in its infancy in any formal sense, and had the great privilege of working with one of the best UX teams and group of clients in the UK.

Since phunQube I’ve continued to be a strong proponent of user-centred design methodologies, and have also worked with many teams to get the best out of working in an Agile UX environment.

I work from the tactical to the strategic end of UX. Often my roles are mixed and clients make use of my full range of skills. I take consulting roles that utilise my range of UX, Project and Program Management skills.

I work with clients from an early stage in their product development and help them translate vision into product roadmaps, MVP for launch, organise requirements, implement the right tracking solutions and manage design and delivery of their products.

My work can take me deep into company structures, to better understand how to get the best out of their teams to deliver their products – or when required to help them reorganise areas of their business to integrate User Experience and the right level of process to deliver better outcomes.
