Actor and Singer in Miami + NYC
Carolina Ordonez is a Miami-born, NYC-based actor, singer, dancer and writer. A proud member of AEA, she’s appeared in national tours, regional theater, cabarets, and original solo shows that blur the line between comedy and confession.
She hit the road with Yellow Brick Road (Theatreworks USA) playing both the Mother and the Wizard, and has since starred regionally as Ruth in Wonderful Town, Lorraine in Jersey Boys, and Conchita in Copacabana. Her performance in Where Art Thou, Freddy Mac? at the Hudson Guild Theatre earned her Best Actress and Best Singer at NYC Winterfest 2020.
As a cabaret performer, Carolina has brought down the house at The Duplex, Broadway Comedy Club, Dixon Place, and with the Miami Symphony Orchestra. Her original works—A Diva in Her Mind and One Night Only: The Comeback-Farewell Tour—blend personal storytelling, satire, and song to showcase her signature mix of heart and humor.
You may have also caught her (very briefly!) on Burn Notice and The Glades, or performing off-the-wall experimental work like Universe is a Small Hat with César Alvarez.
When she’s not onstage, Carolina is probably reorganizing her closet for the seventh time, belting 90s pop ballads in the car, or writing new material for her next cabaret adventure.
Fun fact:Carol Burnett once told her she was fabulous. That’s it. That’s the bio.
