Charles Rosier


In 1997, Charles Rosier joined SBC Warburg bank, which merged that same year with UBS to become UBS Warburg. In 1999, Charles Rosier was promoted and became Manager of UBS Warburg’s Debt Capital Market Division, in charge of the French, Quebec and Belgian markets. Two years later, he became Head of derivatives and structured products sales for French-speaking markets, as well as for the Iberian Peninsula’s financial institutions.

In 2009, Charles Rosier joined Goldman Sachs as Managing Director of the Financing Group, in charge of capital markets and derivatives for the bank’s French and Benelux clients.

In 2010, Charles Rosier joined the Brazilian bank BTG Pactual. He focuses on developing BTG Pactual’s operations and reinforcing relations with the bank’s clients and partners in Europe, the Middle East and South America.

Outside the financial sector, Charles Rosier is involved in cultural and philanthropic activities. For example, he helped preproduce the film « Golden Door », which was awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2006. In 2012, Charles Rosier also helped French singer Lola produce her first album, « Everybody Relax ».

Charles Rosier attaches considerable importance to environmental protection. He sat on the advisory board of NatureRights, an NGO that encourages citizens to protect their environment. Charles Rosier also supports the efforts led by Innoveox, a French company specialised in organic waste treatment using a revolutionary technology in terms of efficiency and carbon footprint. Industrial or hazardous waste and micro-pollutants are destroyed with a 99,99 % success rate ; at the end of the treatment cycle, energy and clean water are produced with no CO2 emissions.

Charles Rosier is also involved in humanitarian causes. He was one of the first investors in MPOWERD, a social business producing solar-powered lanterns designed for the developing countries and eco-responsible consumers. Luci has already been embraced in many countries and by several organisations promoting better access to energy.
