Hi, I’m Charlie. I’m a writer, filmmaker, and journalist, based in New York. I'm originally from North Carolina, where I started my career writing about film for my high school newspaper and where I went to North Carolina School of the Arts.

There, I wrote and made some pretty cool movies with my best friends, my lifelong collaborators. I also wrote essays on the cinema, and any and all forms of narrative art.

Then, I moved to Los Angeles for a bit and did the whole LA thing. I have worked as a PA and more on some pretty cool movie sets, and more types of projects. Now, I'm based in New York City.
