Hi, I’m Charlie. I'm a writer who works across the mediums of film, theater, and prose. I'm originally from North Carolina, where I started my career writing about film for my high school newspaper and where I went to North Carolina School of the Arts.

There, I wrote and made some pretty cool movies with my best friends, my lifelong collaborators. I also wrote essays on the cinema, and any and all forms of narrative art.

Then, I moved to Los Angeles and did the whole LA thing. I was a freelance entertainment PA on set for producers, directors and filmmakers at major studios, networks, streamers, and video game companies on projects like Dune: Part Two, Destiny 2, Captain America and Black Panther, and Ghosts of Tsushima 2. Now, after spending time in Europe and the South, I'm based in New York City.
