'The goal isn't to live forever. The goal is to create something that will..'

I come from Pune - a city in Western India which is known for it's warm portrayal of culture. I recently shifted to Kingston, Canada, to pursue a Master's degree in the field of International Business at Smith School of Business at Queen's University.

After working for over a year and half in the field of corporate governance and compliance management with the prestigious Tata Group, I realized that I wanted to leverage this experience and travel to a another country to understand the differences in business culture and shift my career role from a supporting function to an active one. I believe that this opportunity has helped me develop a sense of responsibility, cultural sensitivity and independence within myself. It has also improved my time management and interpersonal skills immensely.

I took up my bachelor's degree in the field of commerce and specialized in Management Accounting, getting a First-Class throughout the program. I developed a liking for law and I took up a professional certification course called 'Company Secretary' which focussed on corporate laws and governance.
