Hi, I’m Christine Buhr — an entrepreneur dedicated to bringing innovative wellness experiences to my community through FS8 and Vaura Pilates.

I’m passionate about helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more connected through modern fitness concepts that blend movement, mindfulness, and community. With FS8 and Vaura, I’m redefining what accessible, high-quality wellness looks like in Calgary.

For over 15 years, I’ve created immersive social experiences — from operating Shakers Family Fun Centre, a 7-acre adventure park, to producing global events and learning initiatives through my leadership in Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).

My work has been featured in Maclean’s, The Calgary Herald, Business in Calgary, Fun World, AttractionPros, Octane, and more. I also earned my Entrepreneurial Masters Certificate at MIT’s Endicott House and believe that experiences — whether in wellness, business, or community — are the true currency of the future.
