Who am I?

Hi there!

I’m Chris – a seasoned fullstack engineer with over 6-years of professional experience across a variety of industries and organization sizes. I’m located in the tri-state area of New York, and I’m incredibly passionate about system designs and application architecture.

I’ve a knack for being quite the analytical and curious thinker, and seek to understand any system I’m working with through-and-through, to have a clear understanding of the bigger picture. I bring that mindset and approach to the organizations I work with, and the engineering efforts I undertake.

Building products that scale and are robust motivates me to do what I do, and I strive to understand and empathize with the customer-journey to ensure engaging and intuitive experiences for them.

I’ve led small yet nimble and impactful engineering teams to build such products and features, splitting my team between technical lead and high-impact individual contributorship. I have developed technical specifications, performed feature spikes, and mentored and guided junior engineers as part of my technical leadership, and thankfully, I’ve had the opportunity to deliver products from ideation and conception through to deployment and release – by understanding the bigger picture, identifying the missing and expected outcome, being fully accountable and wearing many hats along the way.

What about now?

I’m currently in pursuit of my next engagement as a technical lead and/or high-impact contributor. I’d love to continue building my skills in technical leadership and software architecture as I have for the past several years.

Most recently, I was a Senior Software Engineerat Webflowfor over 3 years and a few months where I worked on multiple growth initiatives as a founding engineer – namely, Logic Flows and Workspace Libraries. Both features unlocked a new level of engagement for Webflow customers; Logic Flows enabling Zapier-like workflow automations to be built natively within Webflow’s platform, and Workspace Libraries enabling enterprise-level companies to publish npm-likepackages within Webflow, to make their brand, design system, elements, and visual artifacts available across all of their sites. This includes an installation/uninstallation flow, upgrade and conflict resolution strategies, and authoring/publishing capabilities.

In all of these features, I worked across the stack using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Styled Components, Node.js/Express, and AWS infrastructure.
