Cindy has been a teacher since 1989, currently in her 13th year at her current school. In her position as a media specialist, she is constantly looking for ways to enhance the learning environment by integrating technology into the curriculum and sharing new ideas with her fellow teachers. She recognizes that technology is "where we are," and whole-heartedly embraces the opportunity to learn more as she meets the challenge of graduate school. She believes in the value of collabaration and sharing, and sees first-hand, the benefits to her students.

Cindy is married and is a mother to two grown daughters. Her oldest daughter, 22, is married and is a middle school reading teacher. Her youngest daughter is 19 and currently a student at a local comunity college, pursuing a degree in business and event planning. Cindy loves to read mysteries, take walks, attend church, watch movies, shop for antiques, and play with her iPad. She grew up loving Little House on the Prairie, and currently loves watching Once Upon a Time, CSI:NY, The Closer, and Dancing with the Stars.

The reason for her blog is to chronicle her technological journey in graduate school and to share about those topics that are relevant in today's educational environment.
