Club Bounce

For more than eight years, Long Beach, California’s Club Bounce has been a pioneer in both the size acceptance community and the entertainment industry. With its slogan, “Where size and style meet,” Club Bounce is a hotspot for larger guests and their admirers and supporters.

The popular nightspot opened its doors in June of 2004 as the creation of Lisa Marie Garbo, a celebrity in the size-acceptance community. Ms. Garbo is an advocate for larger men and women and the movement to empower them and deliver positive messages about body acceptance. As part of that mission, Garbo’s luxury nightclub welcomes guests of all sizes and races, and offers a locale where larger guests can comfortably enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

Open every Saturday inside Corrigan’s at the Long Beach Airport Marriott, at 4700 Airport Plaza Drive, Club Bounce plays an eclectic range of dance and party music ranging from disco, hip-hop, and Top 40, to funk and Spanish songs, for patrons 21 and over. On typical Saturdays, the cover charge is $10 before 10 p.m. for the first 100 people, and $15 afterward. The establishment also hosts special events such as the popular monthly Zodiac parties, which include themes such as December’s “Sagittarius Seduction.”

In keeping with the luxury environment, Club Bounce encourages its guests to wear upscale club attire. Though jeans and tennis shoes are acceptable, the club prohibits sports gear and anything that may be considered offensive to other guests. The club serves a full menu until midnight, and offers regular drink specials for its guests. With its inclusive, positive atmosphere, this nightclub offers a fun experience for everyone.
