About Cassie
Cassie is a theatre artist and musician living in New York City. She has honed her skills in both performance and creation in different art forms. Actor, playwright, director, saxophonist, vocalist, composer, acappella arranger, designer, and writer are just a few of the hats she has worn.
Originally from Iowa, she moved to New York to start a career in the arts with the many opportunities in the city.
Education
After graduating from high school in Iowa, Cassie pursued high education in Virginia at Sweet Briar College. At this historically women's college, she studied music, acting, movement, and directing. During her time at SBC, she was musical director of the campus acappella group, and was an officer in 7 organizations throughout campus. She was the 2022-2023 Student Leader of the Year.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts concentrating in Music and Theatre.
Work in Progress: A Musical
Cassie's senior show at Sweet Briar College was her own original musical which she wrote, composed, set designed, choreographed, and directed. The show was a success on campus, filling seats every night. The show is still being worked on, growing and evolving. Its most recent iteration was performed at a reading in Central Park in June 2025.
