Born and raised in Galway, in the West of Ireland. I'm a fluent Irish speaker, having studied through Irish since childhood. I was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a minor in Chinese Studies in May 2012, from University College Dublin. I have an intermediate to advanced level of Mandarin with plans to become fluent by 2014.
I’m currently living in Shanghai, where I work with Enterprise Ireland as a Market Executive. In my role I specialize in Aviation and Internet models, working closely with Irish client companies providing consultancy, business development, marketing services and localization strategy advice for the Chinese market.
When I’m not working I like to spend time on my health and fitness, travelling, family and socializing. I love to exercise and I have played rugby since I was 10 years old. I am currently involved in Shanghai Rugby Football club, playing on the first team and on the committee as Social Secretary.
