During his time with the Commonwealth and Director of Industrial Development, Craig Turner has helped to lead economic growth resulting in 22,000 new jobs and over $1,230,000,000 capital investment in Kentucky. Craig entered the private sector and began his career in 1986 doing build to suit leaseback projects.
He founded CRM Companies in 1997 and has developed over 1,000,000 square feet of Class A Office space for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Bell South Mobility (AT&T), Smithkline Beecham, and other notable companies.
As a principal at Red Draw Development, he brings a wealth of experience in retail for companies like Kroger and immersed in the hospitality industry as developer and owner of Marriott, Hilton, and Choice Hotels. He has a vast amount of experience in industrial development with developments for Toyota/Johnson Controls, Coors Brewing, and others.
Craig has served on the Board of the Lexington Center Corporation (Rupp Arena) as Chair and Finance Chair, as well as 12 years serving on the Board of Eastern Kentucky University and most recently holding the position of Chairman of the Board. He also founded the CMA Foundation, a nonprofit organization in the Vail Valley which has raised millions of dollars to benefit local charities and children in the Vail Valley.
