Crystal Tellez-Giron

Crystal is a Higher Education Professional, focusing on International Educational Programs. She has taught English as a second language in Spain for the Ministry of Education, was a Work Exchanges Assistant for the Council on International Educational Excellence in Sevilla, and was previously an Int'l Programs Coordinator at the Ahlers Center for International Business at the University of San Diego.

Crystal has experience coordinating and planning executive education programs; organizing info sessions for Int'l work exchange programs; placing international students in competitive, int'l internships and work exchanges programs in the U.S.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from San Diego State University with a minor in personality psychology and Spanish. She is a a driven, passionate and hard-working young woman who aspires to return to grad school next Fall and receive her Master's in Student Affairs.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chula Vista, Calif., she has an innate curiosity to uncover worlds beyond her boundaries. She studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, during the Spring of 2011, and has since developed a passion for working and traveling abroad.
