Dan Picmann is Co-Founder and CEO of Keel Merchant Bank, a next-generation merchant bank purpose-built for the middle market.

With more than 20 years spanning private equity, credit, and business transformation, Dan works directly inside businesses — not at arm's length from them. His career has been shaped by a simple conviction: the decisions that determine outcomes require someone who understands both capital and operations.

Keel Merchant Bank is the expression of that conviction. Across four integrated subsidiaries — Keel Advisory, Keel Partners, Keel Capital, and Keel OS — the firm delivers performance improvement, capital markets execution, direct investment, and an agentic technology platform under one roof.

Previously a Managing Director and Founding Member at Highview Capital, Dan has also held roles at Post Advisory Group, J.P. Morgan, and Bank of America. He holds an MBA from Michigan Ross and dual degrees from Western Michigan University.
