HPC Computational Scientist in Dallas, Texas
I'm a computational scientist and developer currently working in an academic HPC group. I have a PhD background in machine learning (neural network architectures), followed by 9 years experience in research and service bioinformatics / scientific computing work.
I enjoy working on a wide range of technical problems, but am particularly interested in developing tools that allow scientists and domain experts from other disciplines to effectively and easily use modern computing platforms. In my current post I lead the development of web-based platforms that allow biomedical researchers easy access to HPC resources. I also provide support to researchers on a daily basis, and deliver a variety of training, covering programming languages, software development practices and HPC topics.
