After relocating from Dallas to Austin in 2007 to embark on a career in RealEstate, Deborah "Toodle" Smith quickly learned her passion was to authentically capture and communicate the human story rather than to sell the American dream. Upon switching career paths, she worked as the Campus Director for a nationally recognized school of broadcasting: C.S.B Broadcasting. This invoked her passion for post-secondary education and the fine arts. After leaving the company, she founded Elevated Evolution, a full service film production company based in Austin, Texas.

Immersed in the growing digital Austin Community, Deborah has devoted countless hours to become a top contender in the media production spheres. Her work has been published both domestic and Internationally. She has digitally produced work for the Governor’s office, World Affairs Council, Culturemap, Chick-fil-A, Tiff's Treats, Huston-Tillotson, SXSW, Peoplefund and the list goes on.

She was awarded the Women’s Veterans Entrepreneur Corporation Award at Count Me In’s pitch competition in 2014. Received the "Peoples Choice" Award at the 2016 Film Frenzy Competition for the short film she Directed/Produced for Colin's Hope.
