I have been a volunteer DJ on the radio since 2003. On KAOS 89.3 FM Olympia, I hosted a weekly radio program called Dark Woods Casino Party dedicated to giddly exploring the depths of popular music history with an emphasis on left-field and experimental music and avant pop. I spent a significant amount of time interning in the music and development department. It is during this time that I realized I loved community radio first and foremost.

While in Olympia I threw myself into numerous projects - I organized and coordinated the Olympia Experimental Music Festival for three years, helped organize Ladyfest 2005 and volunteered at the Olympia Film Society.

Moving to Seattle in 2010, I immediately became involved in Hollow Earth Radio, an online, community radio station dedicated to underrepresented music and perspectives. I have been involved ever since, and have served as Volunteer Coordinator, DJ, Coordinator of the annual DIY Holiday Fair and as a member of the Board of Directors.

In the Summer of 2012, I started my own business called Lost in Music, a professional DJ company for non-traditional weddings and fancy feet in general.

I love classic disco records, electronic music, black coffee and the Pacific Northwest. Other obsessions include: vintage tourist ephemera, 1970's design, science fiction literature and obscure words.

I grew up primarily in Pembroke Pines, Florida, which is basically every stereotype you could conjur about the banality of the suburbs.
