Dustin Haggett is Founder and CEO at Impact Hub Salt Lake. Impact Hub Salt Lake provides Utah’s entrepreneurs, investors, and freelance professionals a dedicated space to connect and co-create ventures that benefit the community and world at large. Impact Hub was founded in London in 2005 and is part of a larger, global community of more than 20,000 change makers spanning six continents who collaborate on enterprising ideas for a better world.
Dustin believes creating the needed infrastructure for a high level of collaboration will provide a catalyst for finding solutions to some of the largest social, and environmental issues we face today. Through his work at Impact Hub Dustin has rallied support around a multitude of issue-based ventures working in: financial inclusion, human trafficking, mobility, healthcare, education and more. Dustin is an advocate for finding solutions to local air quality issues and has led numerous initiatives including hosting the Governor of Utah and leading executives on a fact-finding mission to learn from the Pro-Aire campaign in Mexico City. He also co-produced a Sustainability Roadmap commissioned by the Mayor of Park City to assist in guiding long-term energy policy for the community.
In addition to Dustin’s role at Impact Hub, He serves as Board Director and Marketing Chair at Warrior Rising, a start-up accelerator for US Veterans. Over the past decade, Dustin has founded or been on the founding team of a number of startups in diverse industries from telecom to media and electric vehicles.
Dustin studied Sustainable Management at the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco. He holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics. Outside of his business endeavors Dustin served in the U.S. Army as a reservist for 8 years, is a combat veteran of the Iraq War, and an active Rotarian.
