I head up the marketing efforts for Powerhouse Factories, a culture-led, data-fed, branding-building agency located in Cincinnati, Ohio. There I work to promote PHF as a creative agency that helps brands become more relevant by creating strategies and experiences that authentically engage consumers.
Previously, I served as the Social Media Copywriter and Photo Coordinator for LPK, a global design and branding firm also headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. There I wrote and reported stories for the LPK Blog and News sites, made photos to accompany verbal content, conceptualized and directed the creation of video pieces and developed the social media strategy behind their campaigns.
In 2011, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Journalism, a concentration in Photojournalism and a minor in English. During my time at UC, I served as Photo Editor for The News Record, the university's award-winning, independent student newspaper. While photo editor, the paper won Best Overall Photojournalism for 2009 at the Ohio Newspaper Association Collegiate awards.
Prior, I spent 6 years as Assistant Track Photographer at River Downs, Turfway Park and Keeneland Race Course, dodging hooves and making photos.
You may have also seen my work in Soapbox, The Cincinnati Enquirer and on Wired Magazine's WIRED.com.
Writing or photo opps? I do that.
