With over a decade of expertise in visual and verbal storytelling, I've cultivated a career in strategic communication and social media marketing. I've helped brands, organizations and businesses like Shaw Floors, LPK, The Christ Hospital, Powerhouse Factories and The Art Academy of Cincinnati connect with their consumers in authentic and meaningful ways. After years of serving clients in the agency world, I now work to connect educators and schools with the furniture and supplies they need to create 21st-century learning environments as Social Media Manager at School Outfitters.

Previously, I headed up the marketing efforts for Powerhouse Factories, a culture-led, data-fed, word of mouth marketing agency located in Cincinnati, Ohio. There I worked to promote PHF as a creative agency that helps brands become more relevant by creating strategies and experiences that authentically engage consumers.

In 2011, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Journalism, a concentration in Photojournalism and a minor in English. During my time at UC, I served as Photo Editor for The News Record, the university's award-winning, independent student newspaper. While photo editor, the paper won Best Overall Photojournalism for 2009 at the Ohio Newspaper Association Collegiate awards.

Prior, I spent 6 years as Assistant Track Photographer at River Downs, Turfway Park and Keeneland Race Course, dodging hooves and making photos.

You may have also seen my work in Soapbox, The Cincinnati Enquirer and on Wired Magazine's WIRED.com.

Writing or photo opps? I do that.
