Ender Yüksel

Software Engineer in Copenhagen, Denmark

<< I use this little page as a gateway to all my web and social media presence. Please find the collection of links/icons at the bottom. >>

I am an expat computer scientist, living in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Currently, I work for SimCorp - a Danish company that provides specialized financial software - as a software engineer in financial instruments department. I enjoy working with highly qualified and highly educated international talents.

Previously, I worked for Danske Bank - a major retail bank in Northen Europe - where I developed financial software, and served as an internal instructor and ambassador.

Prior to that, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at DTU Compute, formerly known as DTU Informatics, where I conducted research in security and performance, and lectured in computer science.

I enjoy being together with my wife Sanem, my son Efe and my daughter Deren in all kind of activities, but especially travelling.

Even though I cannot allocate the time they deserve, I also enjoy my modest guitar collection.

I am a coffee addict, career nomad (in theory), world traveller, and a huge fan of Orson Scott Card (yes, author of Ender's Game), and İhsan Oktay Anar, and Lisa Ekdahl, and Şevval Sam.

My home town is Istanbul, the historical capital to Byzantine and Ottoman empires. However, I became a Copenhagener (or Københavner) and I really enjoy it. I cycle to work, love the baby and children friendly mindset, and the work-life balance.
